Just come back from Zambia where I was consulting on a new lodge interiors project for Kanyemba Lodge on Lower Zambezi - www.kanyemba.com. STUNNING location right on Lower Zambezi river with their own private island with a beautifully simple bushcamp.
Lots to do - soft furnishings havent been touched in a while! But lots of ideas to work on in Cape Town and then Im going to be there for whole of March working on finishing touches
Most exciting part is they have a carpentry workshop where we can produce bespoke furniture pieces, thinking thick natural timbers with glass top coffee tables and natural chunky furniture with white canvas cushions...
Quite a bit to do on the soft furnishings!!
Sundowners by a shallow sandbank and then prawn braai...not all hardwork!!
