Inspired by the laid back African beach island with its mix of Arab and European influences combined with a touch of bohemium attitude.

Abi James: I am a Cape Town designer and interior decorator - I work mainly on beach and safari lodges and also have my own range of accessories and interiors collections - jewellery, leather bags and textiles. I travel alot for work and projects and this blog is about the inspirations I find along the way and how these ideas develop into new designs and are incorporated into new projects
